The Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the urgent care center. This role ensures that the center runs efficiently, providing high-quality care to patients while overseeing staff performance, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities
- Staff Management and Supervision:
- Hire, train, and supervise administrative and clinical staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, manage schedules, and ensure adequate staffing for optimal patient care.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely patient care while eliminating operational bottlenecks.
- Coordinate patient registration, billing, and record-keeping functions.
- Ensure that equipment and supplies are available and properly maintained.
- Financial Management:
- Manage budgets, including operating expenses and payroll.
- Monitor revenue cycle and work with billing staff to ensure accurate billing and collection processes.Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining care quality.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance and safety.
- Patient Relations:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to maintain a patient-centric focus, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of urgent care services.
- Oversee patient satisfaction initiatives, address complaints, and improve service quality.
- Monitor patient wait times and implement process improvements to enhance the patient experience.
- Reporting:
- Prepare reports on financial performance, patient volume, and staff productivity for senior management review.
- Provide operational updates and insights to the Director of Operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Management: 4 years (Required)
